Nourish Your Inner Goddess Spark and Giveaway!

A remake of the classic (and campy!) "Clash of the Titans" has been unleashed. Visually this looks amazing, I haven't seen it yet but I totally want it!

Thanks to MyBlogSpark™ and Yoplait, I was given a chance to be a part of this AWESOME Spark and not only that, YOU get a chance also! Yoplait has a fantastic Greek Style yogurt (high in protein and a great variety of perfect flavors!) and I have two favorite ways to eat it:

#1 make Tzaziki Sauce
This is my version, I don't measure but it comes out PERFECT!!!

Shred a cucumber (like with a cheese grater) and put it in a colander and sprinkle salt on it. The cukes won't be salty but most of the water will be pulled out and decrease a watery sauce!

Mix with Greek Style Yogurt (Plain and can be Yoplait's if you like, which I thought was really yummy!), garlic (minced or even garlic powder), some fresh lemon juice, olive oil, and dill (fresh or dried) and I like to make it the day before so that way the flavors are perfect the next day. Yummy with just pita bread or maybe pita and make some Chicken Souvlaki, gyros or even lamb kebobs!

The other way, plain greek yogurt (or even Vanilla!) with honey and walnuts! PERFECT!

See the picture below? That's the prize pack! Looks great doesn't it?

  1. Well I don't have an inner goddess, so does having a inner god count?

The few days I get to pamper myself are few and far between but when I do I like to take a long hot shower, put on clean pajama pants and a t-shirt, make some hot tea, and chill out with a good book. That is my day of heaven. For food I'll eat a light salad, fruit, maybe some hard salami and Havarti cheese.

  2. Hmmm, a comfy spot, comfy jammies, sleeping dogs and cats and a wonderful book. I know, I know, similar to Ryan but since we are fellow book lovers, makes sense!

  4. Going to my monthly book club meeting is a small something I can do just for myself. I enjoy seeing & catching up with everyone & actually look forward to the discussion of the book.

  5. What an awesome gift pack! Now that my kids are a little older and my husband works out of town during the week, norishing my inner goddess is something I am getting quite good at.

A good example would be last night--relaxing music, good book, soaking in a nice, hot bubble bath! Ahhhhhhh.....

  7. I find it is very rare that I pamper myself. Not that I don't want to it's just that I sometimes find it difficult to be able to just relax and take the time out to do so.

However, every Saturday night my mom and I watch Britcoms and I feel that is probably how I pamper myself the most because I just LOVE my Britcoms and all my worries seem to disappear when I'm watching them. That and sleep cause I'm tired a lot. It's funny how little you appreciate sleep when your young but when you're older, you welcome it with open arms. Oh gosh listen to me, and I'm only 17. XD

Anyway, thanks for the great contest. :D

  9. I leave the kids with their dad and go for a run. It lets me burn energy and allows my brain to focus on what I need to focus on.
