Unfortunately, a blogspost comment got through and that caused all the CommentLuv comments to disappear. I have access to all the comments via the database, so don't worry however I had to open up the comments via the Blogspot system.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Hit the snooze button. Mumble "five more minutes" and then beep. Beep. Beep. Fine. Rise and shine. Does this sound familiar? I know there is nothing like the smell of flavored coffee brewing out of an amazing drip coffee maker! Grab a cup, sit down and let's chat about coffee and our #Coffeejourneys.
During the week, my days are a bit rushed and I tend to brew a cuppa and throw it in a travel mug and go.
However, Saturdays and Sundays are my days to relax with an amazing cup of Chocolate Velvet Millstone® coffee brewed in the absolutely amazing Mr. Coffee® 10-cup Optimal Brew™ Thermal Coffee Maker.
I am always seeking some quiet, me-time and that time is very precious to me. I think it's our bit of sanity in our crazy world. I have fond memories of coffee. When I was a little girl, my mom and I would walk to her friend Linda's house on Saturday mornings. Linda's daughter Martha and I were friends (we still keep in touch 30 years later) and while we would play, our moms would sit with a cup of coffee and chat. I always wanted to drink their coffee- it was so creamy looking and smelled heavenly. My mom had a few friends that she would meet for a cup of coffee on the weekends and that is something I always put together with coffee- friends. Although I don't get together with friends as often as I would like, coffee is such an important part of my day and especially relaxing.
Although I don't have the same tradition as my mom but my coffee journey is still special to me. I get up extra early and first thing I do is start brewing the coffee, I open up the windows in my apartment and I usually power up my computer, turn on the TV or pull out a book. Then I whip out my favorite coffee mug- STAR TREK! Yes. I begin my day with the Federation. Don't judge. I know you're jealous.
Mmmmm can you smell it? Yes. |
Isn't this just beautiful? |
Now. Take a sip- ahhhhhhhhhhh. Yes. Yes. This is why coffee is in our world. A smooth cup of coffee and a quiet apartment and I am a happy momma. Now it's time to either sit down and catch up my shows, sit outside and read or visit all you wonderful bloggers!
Let me tell you- the Chocolate Velvet Millstone® coffee is an amazing and premium coffee and it's definitely for us coffee lovers! It's very smooth. I don't even need to add sugar to it but I do use a nice sweet cream liquid creamer. Even better ice cold the next day! Yum! I also adore my Mr. Coffee® 10-cup Optimal Brew™ Thermal Coffee Maker. It brews 10 cups in less than 7 minutes, you can even pull out the carafe and pour yourself a cup while it's still brewing because of the Pause N' Serve feature and has a built in water filtration! You can pick up both products at your local Walmart! Also, be sure to check out the Journey of the Bean, it's very cool!
How would you love a chance to win a Mr. Coffee® 10-cup Optimal Brew™ Thermal Coffee Maker and a bag of Millstone® coffee? I knew you would!

Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI have to have my coffee every morning before I can function. It's best that no one try to speak to me before I have it as well ;)
ReplyDeleteI love plain black coffee. My favorite is Flat Head Lake Cherry coffee that we get when we visit Montana :)
ReplyDeleteI'm more of an afternoon pick-me-up coffee drinker. For some reason, it makes me sleepy of a morning, but gets me back in action in the afternoon. :) Depending on the coffee, I'll drink it black, but sometimes I love a good flavored coffee creamer. :)
