Sundays.
They're made for socks, books, tea, and snacks. This is non-negotiable. Okay, I jest about the non-negotiable part BUT it is for me. At least now it is.
I have spent a lot of time decluttering and regaining control of my life so I can *finally* just enjoy Sundays! There's nothing better than getting up early before anybody else is up curling up with a good book, with a steaming mug of TAZO® Chai Latte, and some #SweetMeetsSpicy snacks.
Do you like chai lattes? I loooooooooove them. That's not an exaggeration, either. The flavors of cinnamon, ginger, black tea, and vanilla are paired with creamy milk and my mouth is happy with part spicy, part sweet flavors. It's like being able to go to another world. Did you know that chai tea is steeped in 5,000 years of Indian history? Pretty amazing!
TAZO® Chai Latte is definitely bursting with flavors. I am pretty excited to be able to brew it at home on my Keurig®. Padma Lakshmi, New York Times bestselling author and host, has partnered with TAZO® to celebrate the release of the K-cup® pods! Which is so fitting since chai is a huge part of her life and heritage. I highly recommend visiting this website for more information and because there are some INCREDIBLE recipes that Padma has developed to pair with the chai latte you will be able to brew at home!
The process is 2-step. First, the dairy powder goes into the mug (before brewing) and then pop the k-cup® pod into the Keurig® and brew. Stir and enjoy! Piece of cake!
Isn't the mug and spoon TO DIE FOR?! I think so! |
I like to pair with a sweet and spicy snack.
One of my favorites is to spread cream cheese on buttery crackers and top with salsa or another spicy sauce. This morning, I topped it with Habanero Pineapple sauce.
Fiery delicious.
Then paired with a good book and a TAZO® Chai Latte and this is how you have a good Sunday Morning.
I'm currently reading "A Gathering of Shadows" by VE Schwab and I am planning to re-read the Pulitzer Prize winning, "Lonesome Dove" by Larry McMurtry this summer. I will tell you- VE Schwab is INCREDIBLE. Read the first book, "A Darker Shade of Magic" and then "A Gathering of Shadows". If you like Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere" and "Harry Potter", I think you will LOVE this series.
Of course, don't forget the socks. The sillier- the better.
