Can you believe summer is almost over? I don't know about you but for us, it just flew by.  Maybe it's because there are some HUGE changes that have happened in our lives.

I seriously cried when Em went back to school last week.

Why?


She's a freaking high schooler! OMG.  She began her first day of high school and to boot, the first day of high school was also her 14th birthday.  #Iknowright?!

Fierce. Fabulous. Fourteen. Freshman. Aaaaaahhhh 😢😢😢😢

This is crazy.  I can't believe my baby is in high school.

Of course, with Em heading back to high school, I decided it was time to upgrade my phone and plan with Walmart Family Mobile and go with the $49.88 PLUS Unlimited Talk, Text & Data Plan. (Includes up to 15GB of 4G LTE† data, then 2G*).  As you may recall, I am already a HUGE fan of Walmart Family Mobile as I have shared here MANY times here on my blog.

I picked up the LG L59 Grace and I LOOOOVE it.  It was a great price (only $79) and is sleek, slim, and lightning fast.   

Over this past summer, my sister, brother, Em, and I have started a bit of a tradition.  Every Sunday, we go to my sister's house and we cook dinner together.  One of us just throws out an idea for dinner and we look up recipes and we just cook together.  It's fun and it's been such a nice time of getting together.  This past weekend we made carne asada and watermelon agua fresca.  

Of course, I couldn't wait to take photos of the agua fresca with my new phone and upload them to Facebook.

Talk about a perfect summer evening of summer food and family.  The tacos were perfect and the agua fresca was so refreshing. 

 There's nothing better than family, food, and just relaxing during these hot summer days.  

This Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca Recipe is sooooo easy and you will fall in love with how easy and refreshing it is.

Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca Recipe

8 cups of cubed, seedless watermelon
1 cup of water
1/2 cup mint leaves (packed)
1/8 cup sugar

Garnish: Lime slices

1.  Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. 
2.  Pour over ice and garnish with lime. Enjoy.

I, personally, don't like to strain it but you can strain through a fine mesh strainer.  I like the texture of the fruit pulp.
