Easy Halloween Mummy Cups Tutorial

Who doesn't love this time of year? Seriously, from Labor Day until New Year's, it's just one activity after another, one holiday after another and I love every second of it.  It's exhausting but well worth it.  Getting together with friends and family and making memories is what it's all about.  

This year, we are splitting up Halloween fun a bit.  Friday night will be going to Trunk or Treat at Em's school and then Saturday night, we will hang out at home, pass out candy, eat spooky snacks and drink Fanta Orange Soda out of these crazy, easy (but so freakin' cute!) Halloween Mummy Cups 

These cups are so easy and you really only need a few things to make them!

1. Monster Eyes
2. Gauze wrap (I cut them into 1/2 inch strips.  About 1/2 inch...)
3. Glue
4. Paper cups

Step 1-

Glue eyes (or single eye. No rules! Pinkie promise!) on to cups.

Step 2- Allow eyes to dry.  I let them sit about 15 minutes.  While doing so, I was productive and drank some Fanta orange soda... what? It's for RESEARCH.  

Cute, amiright?

Step 3- Place a small drop of glue at the bottom of the cup

Step 4-  Put end of gauze on drop of glue and hold for a few seconds to allow the gauze to hold. 

Step 5 -  Wrap gauze around cup, leaving mummy eyes exposed.  Add a drop of glue to end of gauze to hold (alternatively, you can tuck the end in)

Step 6 - Fill with Fanta Orange Soda and pop in a cute black straw and let the spooky movie fest begin! 

I am pretty sure, Fanta Orange Soda is the official drink of Halloween. At least in mi casa! Be sure to head over to CVS  to grab some Fanta Orange Soda and the rest of your Halloween goodies.  There's even a necker coupon on Fanta that gives $1 off, with purchase of (2) Fanta 2 liters and a pumpkin!  I love CVS- I always score the coolest stuff there!

Tip: These also make GREAT treat cups! Fill with popcorn, snack mix, Oreos, etc.
