Sheila from Book Journey is the brains behind this meme. I met her many years ago when I was dedicated to books. As I have been trying to make my blog have a bit more variety, I put my book blogging to the way side. Not that I stopped reading, (Oh no! Never!) I just stopped writing about them. I still get a good book hangover. I still get crazy over my book boyfriends. I still have obsessions over my stories. I love having a vibrant, borderlining on insanity, conversation with my friends over a good book or a series! With that being said, let's talk about...
It is Monday! What are YOU reading? I hope something good.

I just started this gem. Yes, I read more than one at once. This is like a cross between the Dresden series and Neverwhere. I'm not too far in it but I will be deep in this series once I finish Sword.
How about you? Read any good books lately?

Isn't it wonderful to have a book you can't wait to read? The breaks at my work are never enough either :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful reading week! The Brunette Librarian's Blog
It is! Get that giddiness over it! Sigh, I wish we got like 1 hour breaks at a time. Wouldn't that be lovely?
DeleteI listened to a free novella by George R.R. Martin and really liked it. Now I have to start one of the series.
ReplyDeleteI think I read a mystery by Simon Green years ago.
Hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading!
You should! His books are amazing. The first five are out in this series, not sure when six comes out but he does take a long time to complete a book but he's worth the wait!
DeleteI'm so glad you visited my blog again, I hadn't connected the dots with your blog, finally realised I've been following you since way back when lol. How is Emma? Something From the Nightside looks like a good creepy read for Halloween. Have a great week and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I knew it would take you a bit to figure out who I am since I've changed this so many times. She's great! Thanks for asking. She's been doing quite well!
DeleteYou should read it if you get a chance!
I've been meaning to read the Nightside series, I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week!
Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out
Hi Shelleyrae! So far, I am enjoying it! Once I finish Storm, I will be focused on the Nightside! I recommend it (so far!)
DeleteI love Dresden and Neverwhere. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteOh for sure! If you love Dresden and Neverwhere, definitely check out The Nightside series. It's complete and it has 12 total in the series!
DeleteI don't think I've ever read those but they look awesome! And I love your blog, new follower!
ReplyDeleteMy Monday’s list!
They ARE awesome! Check them out when you get a chance! Thanks for following! On my way to yours :)
DeleteLoved Storm of Swords and learned quite early that you have to expect the unexpected! Looking forward to the next book in the series.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! You really do learn from the beginning nobody is safe!
DeleteMartin is addicting, no doubt about it. And Storm has it shocker moments thats for sure! The best book of the series I think...
ReplyDeleteI agree! Super addicting. When I first read A Game of Thrones it seriously took me a YEAR before I could move on because of the intensity. I am a GRRM fan girl! Who is your favorite character?
DeleteNice week for you.
ReplyDeleteENJOY your books...I don't know any of these titles.
