You know I adore you. I hope that you truly adore me. I have a confession to share with you today. I am a nerdy, gaming mom. However, I need to introduce you to somebody and her name is Jane and she is my avatar. She's awesome and what I am loving about the news Sims game- the WEIRDER stories! (Guys... I am so excited about The Sims™ 4 Launch. Wicked excited!)
Readers, meet Jane. Jane, meet my readers!
I am sure you have already guessed, I am a huge Jane Austen fan and Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book in her canon. Thus- my avatar is the stunning Jane Bennett.
I love games that simulate life and create a fun escape world that you can build. Your avatar can be anybody you want him or her to be. The Sims has always been my first choice. I have always been a gamer- I remember spending entire weekends (when I was in high school) mastering all the Super Mario games (oh yeah... the original Nintendos), playing Mortal Combat, RPG Dungeons & Dragons, and of course, we head into the world of MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) and Life Simulation. Life Simulation is where my beloved Sims fall under.
When I heard that The Sims™ 4 was launching on September 2nd, you better believe I was giddy with excitement.
I am not kidding. I couldn't get out of work and to Walmart fast enough. See? Told you I am a nerdy mom.
Headed straight to the electronics section....
BOOM! The Sims™ 4 in all its glory!
Come to momma!
To say I am a little excited is an understatement.
I haven't had as much time as I would like to explore The Sims™ 4 but you KNOW I am going to be immersed in it this weekend BUT BUT BUT... lemme tell ya... it's awesome. Seriously awesome.
There are so many new features in The Sims™ 4 that will make you super giddy. They have REALLY upped their game with the latest addition to the Sims 'Verse.
The Sims, which, are the heart of the game, are brand new and they have BIG personalities. They are also smarter, more relatable, and they are also more emotionally aware.
Wait. What? EMOTIONALLY AWARE?
Yes! I am not kidding! Every action is affected by what they're thinking and how they are feeling. They have traits, aspirations and skills that affect their behavior. I love that their faces are much more animated and you can easily see, with one glance, whether your Sim is happy, sad or angry. Now... you can build a world where you can tell weirder, funnier or more touching stories.
Weird? Yes. Weird. That's my middle name.
There are new and intuitive creative tools that are much more powerful, tactile and fun.
Shhhhhh. Don't tell anybody but you can sculpt your Sim by hand. Pffftt... you better find out more about this by buying the game yourself but it's faster and easier to build homes room by room.
SHARING.
Yes! The Sims™ 4 has made it even easier to share your creativity with your friends with the new gallery.
Are you excited YET?
What? Okay. I know you are but wait until I tell you about the contest.

Of course, don't forget to head to Walmart and pick up the game for yourself or your loved ones who game!
